Head Coach & Founder - Tony Rose
Tony Rose is an author, guide and living proof that imagination creates reality.
On 1.11.21, Tony made manifest what was once an idea and founded Square Time Boxing.
Like most young boys growing up, Tony played all sports and excelled in all of them but found himself getting in trouble for fighting and fighting often, whether it was in school, on the streets or at home. Not because he wanted to but because at that time of his life, he needed to. Life's natural experience was master and Tony welcomed the apprenticeship.
Whilst still in his early teens, Tony wanted to transmute that self-taught experience into boxing professionally but got zero support from the people in his life. Naturally, they were concerned for his health and safety but were simultaneously projecting their own fears and regrets of not pursuing their own dreams.
So, without the support, guidance, maturity or modern day access to everyone and everything, Tony slowly but surely let the idea of being a professional boxer fade.
At the time, Tony couldn't understand or see the bigger picture at play but teachers are born, they're not made and everything played out the way it was supposed to.
Everything fell into place, so Tony could BE the light in someone's life when they were looking for it. It's now his mission to BE the coach, guide and or mentor he had always wanted and needed growing up.
So, in 2021 and 30 years old, the business started when he asked his sister if she'd be willing to try boxing, to see if he was able to express and teach what he knew. The sessions were recorded for his own educational purposes but some light and playful footage was shared across social media and people started to ask if he was teaching boxing.
Since then, Tony has touched the lives of hundreds of people across NSW through private and semi-private coaching.
Now when Tony's not with clients or playing with his dogs, he's been able to publish 9 gentle, illustrated stories for kids and 19 no-nonsense spiritual guides for adults.
